West Ham United are understood to have received an enquiry for one of their misfits this season from another Premier League club.

Liverpool are known to have been in the market for a new centre-back after all of their main options were struck down with injuries, thus leaving Jurgen Klopp to explore his options as they look to retain their crown.

And, according to The Atheltic, it is believed they enquired about a move for West Ham’s Issa Diop before they went on to capture both Preston North End’s Ben Davies and Schalke 04’s Ozan Kabak on deadline day.

Despite having appeared to lose his place in the team under David Moyes, the French centre-back was not allowed to leave the London Stadium to leave the club on a temporary deal without the obligation of a purchase at the end of it. This transfer fee is rumoured to have been in the region of £20 million. Although it is money the Reds would have likely had, they may have had to recoup it by playing a number of casino games at sites like https://www.cancasinos.ca/ or others similar.

This suggests that The Hammers may have been open to letting their misfit leave the club in the very near future, although that seems rather strange considering the stand out two seasons he has had at the London Stadium.

Diop has fallen down the pecking order significantly, with the likes of Angelo Ogbonna and Craig Dawson appearing to be the main central partnership, whilst Fabian Balbuena is also waiting in the wings to get a chance.

He has made just four Premier League appearances for West Ham United this season, which is a far cry from the 30+ he made in each of his first two seasons in the English capital. Let us hope he has better luck when playing at the best payout casinos online than he does getting into the first-team.

However, it perhaps does not come as a surprise considering the options that Moyes does have available to him and the current hectic schedule that has been provided to football clubs this season.

With West Ham flying high in the Premier League, an injury to Moyes’ defence could prove costly if he were not to have the back-up to deal with it. Winston Reid had left the club earlier on the day with a short-term switch to Brentford, thus leaving just Balbuena.

All you have to do is look at Liverpool to know what problems could be had when you have not got enough centre-backs to play…
